Steps to enter the Marina

Entrance to the estuary, call the Captain's office on channel 10 or phone (+212) 661 227 137 to request entry permission.

Passage between the jetties: This is the most difficult part, marked by depths between 2.4m and 5.5m depending on the tide height, it is preferable to schedule entry between 2 hours and 1 hour before high tide to enter in the best conditions.

As shown in the photo, between the inner jetties at the level of position (2) is the least deep part of the river, causing agitation and difficult currents by descending tide and by wave exceeding 2m.

Passage between the wooden boats, just keep the middle and navigate at reduced speed.

As shown in the photo between the boats there is enough passage to navigate safely at reduced speed.

Before entering the marina (5), you must pass through the reception pontoon (4) and complete the formalities with the authorities.

The reception pontoon is easily accessible by descending tide, by rising tide it is preferable to make a half-turn to park facing the current.

After completion of the reception formalities, the boat is directed to a post inside the Marina.

Entry to the port
The Port of Bouregreg has 15 ESM marking access to the Point of Debarkation Arranged for fish products and the Marina, the access channel is delimited by coordinates offering secure passage for boats between 2m and 4m of draft.

Access to the port of Bouregreg is oriented to the entry with a heading of 130° until the crossing of the dikes to change to 150°. The second change takes place in the middle of the passage between the dikes on a heading of 167°, the third change takes place through the calibration spit of Salé on a heading of 143°, then on 116° in the middle of the road to the crossing of the embarkation spit, on this last one a change to the heading of 104°, the last change before entering the marina is made through the Al Alaouiyine avenue on a heading of 90°. The exit from the marina is done with the inverse repetition of the course followed to enter the port. The access channel is for double navigation, however only entry or exit is allowed at a time. Ships can use the services of the captaincy to guide them in and out of the port
